Need a document notarized at the hospital? I will meet you at the bedside, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Where I go
I visit patients at University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata.
I also visit nursing homes, rehabilitation centers and assisted living residences in Waldorf, La Plata, White Plains, Indian Head, Port Tobacco and Brandywine.
What the signer must be able to do
- Be awake and alert.
- Understand the document being signed.
- Sign the document, or direct a signature as Maryland law allows.
- Present a valid government-issued photo ID.
I cannot tell you what a document should say. Please have the complete, unsigned document ready before I arrive.
Fees
Hospital and nursing-home visits are charged at the normal $8 per notarial act plus travel. There is no hospital surcharge.
