Detention center visits by appointment. Please call ahead so I can confirm the facility's visit schedule.
How a visit is arranged
A family member or counsel books the visit for the person being held.
The facility sets its own visit rules and schedule. Every visit is confirmed with the facility before I travel.
What to arrange before the visit
- The complete, unsigned document.
- How the signer will be identified. Identification held by the facility is discussed when you call.
- Who will pay for the appointment, including the deposit at booking.
Fees
Detention center visits are charged at the normal $8 per notarial act plus travel to La Plata. There is no surcharge.
A 10% deposit is due at booking to reserve your appointment. It is applied to your total at the appointment.
